QUADRADO
Trancoso’s main square, known as the “Quadrado”, is absolutely worth a visit! It’s where you’ll find the famous white church overlooking the ocean, plenty of restaurants and great shopping. It’s important to note that most shops and some restaurants do not open until late afternoon, but will remain open until late evening. The afternoons are very hot this time of year - so everyone is at the beach or by the pool!
